We’re Caleb and Tamara, raising twelve kids—eleven boys and one girl—in the heart of the Ozarks. Our family is a little different, and life is rarely quiet, but we wouldn’t trade it.
Our story is one of faith, loss, second chances, and a whole lot of love. It’s a story that brought two families together and gave us a new beginning we never expected.
Today, we’re sharing what it’s really like raising a large family—from homeschooling and farm life to cooking for a dozen, family adventures, Branson, Missouri and Silver Dollar City, and the everyday chaos that comes with twelve kids.
It’s messy. It’s loud. It’s sometimes completely crazy.

Finding Love at Silver Dollar City
Our story began in a place neither of us expected: Silver Dollar City. Two people who had experienced the heartbreak of losing their spouses to cancer in 2022, two families forever changed, and eleven boys between us. Neither of us was looking for the story that would come next, but God had other plans. What started as an unexpected meeting quickly turned into something neither of us could have imagined. Just five weeks later, we were married, bringing two families and eleven boys together under one roof. And then, God surprised us one more time with a little girl, Evelyn Joy, completing our family of twelve. It wasn't the beginning either of us would have written for ourselves, but it's a story we're incredibly grateful God wrote for us.
